Ultra-Low Flow Electromagnetic Flowmeter (Mini Type) - Just Measure it

1. Product Overview

The Mini Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a compact and cost-effective solution designed for precise measurement of ultra-low flow rates. With nominal diameters ranging from DN3 to DN20, it is suitable for applications requiring high accuracy in small pipelines. Typical industries include chemical processing, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, and water treatment.

This flowmeter supports bi-directional measurement, features no moving parts, and offers long-term stability with minimal maintenance.

2. Key Advantages

  • Ultra-Low Flow Capability: Stable measurement even at flow rates as low as 2–5 L/h.

  • No Moving Parts: Eliminates wear, extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.

  • Compact Size: Perfect for small pipelines and limited installation spaces.

  • Versatile Outputs: Compatible with PLC/DCS systems via 4–20 mA, pulse, or MODBUS communication.

  • Hygienic Design: PEEK liner and EPDM seals available for food-grade applications.

  • Energy Saving: Low power consumption <150 mA at 24 VDC.

4. Installation Guidelines

  • Install horizontally with electrodes aligned in the horizontal plane.

  • For vertical installation, flow direction should be upward to avoid air accumulation.

  • Avoid locations with strong vibrations; use flexible couplings if necessary.

  • Ensure upstream and downstream straight pipe runs are met (typically 10D upstream, 5D downstream).

  • Do not install on the suction side of a pump to prevent negative pressure damage.

5. Electrical Connections

  • Power: 24 VDC

  • 4–20 mA output for analog integration

  • Pulse output for totalizing applications

  • RS485 MODBUS RTU for digital communication

6. Typical Applications

  • Chemical Dosing Systems – low-volume, high-precision flow monitoring

  • Pharmaceutical Industry – small-batch production with hygienic requirements

  • Food & Beverage – flavoring, additive dosing, and CIP cleaning monitoring

  • Environmental Monitoring – sampling, wastewater, and lab testing

  • Cooling & Utility Lines – accurate measurement in auxiliary systems
